La Femme Brune

Well, of course fanart was coming. I don’t do fanart very often, I like to stick to OC’s, be they mine or someone else’s. I don’t know why, I just adore OC’s. I like the way anyone can join a fantasy world simply through their imagination, and how they can become little communities like what we have here. X3 I don’t know why…I just think it’s cool.

Anyway, yes! Here’s Shadow! I am completely in LOVE with that hair, I think it came out soooo well. I haven’t tried that hair technique before, as it meant using an emulated airbrush, something that I very rarely do. It looks so much more detailed than it really is, and I probably spent about a third of my total drawing time on it. Colouring the armour was a lot more time consuming than the hair, I do admit. I noticed as I was colouring, the pupil on the eye of her belt is not black, it’s a paler yellow. I don’t know if that’ significant or not, but it was quite interesting anyway. I like finding out stuff about her design and adding to it, like the claws in her gloves.

Now, I really don’t know why I like her. I mean, I really don’t. As you all know, I ship my OC with Chase, and I thought “ah, wise move, no canons to blow up my new ship!” and then of course XC went all Black Pearl on my ass and boom, my ship sank. XD Well…technically, but not to me. I REALLY don’t like Chronicles Chase as much as Showdown Chase; in Showdown, he was a lot more maniacal, more patient, darker. Now he’s just an arrogant man who’s just smart enough to cause trouble with the resources he has. He’s too busy flirting with Shadow and flipping his hair out of the fountain to really be that much of a threat right now. I want Shadow to betray his ass simply so he can get back to ruling the world. C:

I think it would be great for Shadow to betray Chase. Their story is very Adam and Eve; Eve was created from Adam’s rib bone, and made to be Adam’s soulmate. Then, of course, Lucifer (*COUGH*HANNIBAL*COUGH*) tempted her with the forbidden fruit (*COUGHLAOMANGLONESOUP*COUGH*) and she betrayed him for it to get a mouthful of that tasty gunk. And then she’d become all awesome and powerful alongside Hannibal and then there’d be a great big team-up to beat them both, and then the day would probably be saved by her conscience or something like that. XD I should stop deducing now. *clears throat* Anywhoo.
